We recommend linking to the library catalog instead of directly to the journal in a databases using a permalink. The journal might be available in many different databases and the years available in each database may differ (or change over time!). It's best to be able to check for the year you need in the library catalog.

1. Find a journal in the library catalog and click the title.
   
2. Save the URL out of the browser address bar or click Get Link.
   
3. Past the link into your document, email, or Canvas page.
