UMD users (current faculty/staff/students) must use the following links to access SciFinder.
If you have not used the web version of SciFinder Scholar you must register to use it. If you are using a computer that is not on the UMD wired network, you will be required to authenticate using your UMD email username and password - after which you will be connected to the SciFinder website.
SciFinder web is accessible, using these links, from most off-campus locations (try to access via VPN if you are experiencing issues). However, some computers may be protected by a "firewall" which blocks access to these links. Information on this web page may help adjust the firewall and restore access.
In addition to reference, substance, reaction and supplier content, SciFinder-n includes relevance-ranked results, step-by-step procedures and protocols, citation mapping, biosequence searching, retrosynthetic analysis, patent landscape mapping, and touch-screen enabled structure drawing.
