Nichole is currently the Electronic Resources & Collections Librarian at the University of Minnesota Duluth's Kathryn A. Martin Library. Her primary responsibilities include negotiating licenses for electronic resources (databases, ebooks, online journals, streaming videos, etc.), troubleshooting access issues, supporting collection discovery, and leading collection development and management decisions as Chair of the Collections Committee.
Special interests include exploring the library's role in supporting textbook affordability for students, course content, and open scholarship. She has a passion for data analytics, problem-solving, UX design, and (like most librarians) spreadsheets.
In her off-time, Nichole makes like a dragon and hoards her own collection of books and graphic novels, mostly in the fantasy and science fiction genres. Her TBR pile is tall enough to crush her if it falls, but that doesn't stop her from adding to it! (Book collecting and reading are two different hobbies.)
