Keys Available at the Circulation desk

Group Study Room keys are checked out from the Circulation desk (first floor of the Kathryn A. Martin Library) on a first-come, first-served basis. UMD students, faculty, and staff may check out any available room. See room descriptions.

Group Study Room

Choose a room that will accommodate the size of your group. If no room is immediately available, ask to be placed on a waiting list. You will be provided with a pager and will be called when a room becomes available.

Study rooms may be checked out for three hours at a time. They cannot be renewed online or by telephone. You must remove your personal items from the room and return the key to the Circulation desk by the time due. If no other group is waiting for an available room, you may return the key and then check it out a second time.
