Welcome to Course Reserves

Course Reserve is a library service that provides access to materials which a professor has identified as being important to his/her course.

Books, videos, and other media assigned for class reading or viewing are placed on Reserve by instructors to ensure availability to students.

Materials that have been placed on reserve are located at the Circulation desk on the first floor of the library.

Reserve items are checked out on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one reserve item may be checked out at a time.

Most Reserve items are checked out for two to four hours at a time. Some items may be checked out overnight or for a three-day loan, depending on the loan period set by the professor. All overnight and three-day items are due at 9 a.m. on the date due. Please check your date due receipt closely for the time due.

Late items incur fines of $.50 per hour around the clock up to a maximum of $20 per item. To avoid late charges please renew your materials by logging into "My Account" from the library home page or calling the circulation desk. Reserve items are allowed one renewal.
