Did you know that the library will now pull your books for you?

 is a service which provides paging service for all registered UMD Library users, with U-wide paging and lending available to students, faculty, and staff.

Get It offers students, faculty, and staff the ability to manage renewals through My Account on the Library Web site.  You can search the MNCAT all-campus catalog to check the holdings throughout the UM system and then select the "Find or Request" tab and then "Sign in to Request"  and click on  to order an available copy or recall one that is checked out. The item will be shipped via courier if coming from another campus location.

Other Libraries

Duluth Public Library is an excellent resource for children and adolescent literature. When searching the Duluth Public Library Catalog, click on the More Search Options. Under Target Audiences, you can limit search to Juvenile or Adolescent. You can also indicated library or material type.

 

University of Minnesota All Campus Catalog - use this catalog to see what is avaiable on all the University of Minnesota campuses. Sign into My Account before starting your search. Use GET IT to have UMD items pulled or to requests items be sent to the UMD Library. You will be notified by email when the item is in. This is quicker than Interlibrary Loan.

Other Library Catalogs - provides links other library catalogs including College of St. Scholastic and University of Wisconsin - Superior. UMD students are allowed to borrow materials from these libraries.

When UMD does not own a book, you can request through Interlibrary Loan.

ILL provides access to materials that are not owned by the Martin Library or cannot be borrowed from another University of Minnesota library through Get It. This service is available to UMD faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students. Log in to ILLiad with your UMD Internet name and password.
