Introduction

Undergraduate chemistry students the scope and nature of scientific literature and be able to read and evaluate the chemical literature and follow a logical path of inquiry.  In order to do that they should be able to understand the organization of the library and how to use various library tools and library services.

 

Interlibrary Loan

If the library does not have an item or does not have electronic access to a book, journal article, or patent, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan.  Go to: http://www.d.umn.edu/lib/ill/index.htm and fill out the appropriate form.  It takes about 2 weeks to get an item.
