About Genealogy Research

Genealogy or family history research resources may be locally oriented. Most resources located at UMD or in Duluth focus on families who lived in this region of Northeastern Minnesota.

Ancestry, a large database of information that covers a much greater geographic area is available at the Duluth Public Library . You'll need to visit the library to use this database on their computers.
