When you look for books always begin with the UMD Library Catalog. If you have a very narrow topic, you might have to broaden out the topic to do the search in our library catalog.
In addition, we have a number of sets of electronic books that are available 24/7. One of the advantages of searching electronic books is that using most of these systems, you can look for a word or a phrase that actually occurs in the book. Be aware, that many of the electronic books currently are not in our library catalog.
Elsevier Science Direct and SpringerLink have both books and journals that you can search together. so if you use either of these items, you might also find journal titles related to your search.
