Another way is by searching the catalog-of-catalogs called WorldCat. When you search WorldCat, the results will be in the order of how many libraries in the system own a copy. If you're interested in getting a book sent here for you, click on the title to find out more about it, and then click on the link for ILL or interlibrary loan (there will be a red icon). You will be sent to the login screen for our ILL system.
Books and government documents are located:
A-L - regular loan on the 3rd floor.
M-Z - regular loan on the 4th floor.
Government Documents - on the 3rd floor.
Reference - on the 2nd floor (they do not circulate)
Multimedia - request at the Circulation Desk.
Did you know that the library will now pull your books for you?
Get It offers students, faculty, and staff the ability to manage renewals through My Account on the Library Web site. You can search the MNCAT all-campus catalog to check the holdings throughout the UM system and then select the "Find or Request" tab and then "Sign in to Request" and click on to order an available copy or recall one that is checked out. The item will be shipped via courier if coming from another campus location.
Find additional information at our Get It information page.
